Driving to Kangaroo Island

Driving to Kangaroo Island tales 1.5 hour from Adelaide to Cape Jervis through the Fleurieu Peninsula (107km). Allowing 2 hours from Adelaide prior to your scheduled departure will allow you plenty of time to take a break and not be in a rush. There are car parking options at the ferry terminal but if you’re staying on Kangaroo Island for more than 72 hours we suggest parking at the kic Service Centre for long term parking ($5/day). If you need transport on Kangaroo Island hire a car from $99/day.
