Driving to Kangaroo Island
Driving to Kangaroo Island takes 1.5 hour from Adelaide to Cape Jervis through the Fleurieu Peninsula (107km). Allowing 2 hours from Adelaide prior to your scheduled departure will allow you plenty of time to take a break and not be in a rush. There are car parking options at the ferry pier but if you’re staying on Kangaroo Island for more than 72 hours we suggest parking at the kic Service Centre located within the Cape Jervis Accommodation & Caravan Park

Shuttle Transfer between Long Term Parking and Ferry
A shuttle bus service is available between the Cape Jervis long term car parking located at the Kangaroo Island Connect Service Centre within the Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park and the Cape Jervis ferry pier and is aligned with the Kangaroo Island ferry timetable. Bookings are essential. Call 08 8598 0288 to book. The shuttle takes 5 minutes between the two points.
