Family Holiday to Kangaroo Island with Young Children

Kangaroo Island is one of South Australia’s famous tourist attractions. With over 114 businesses and more than 140,000 visitors each year, this place is incredibly perfect to bring your family, friends, and little children.

Kangaroo Island is Child-friendly

Kangaroo Island is open to all ages, and children are also loving it!  The wildlife gives the kids a chance to get up close and personal with furry wallabies, cuddly koalas, and bubbly kangaroos.  The parents/adults can take picture-perfect memories while their kids take a stroll on the pristine beaches.

Emu Bay

Best Beaches for Little Kids:

1)  Emu Bay

Emu Bay is one of the most popular beaches because of its easy access, clear waters, and long shoreline.  It is a fantastic beach for young children which is safe for swimming and building sandcastles.  The conditions are calm, and parking is accessible. Stop by Mini De Lights Cafe for a sumptuous snack or lunch.

2)  Rock Pool at Stokes Beach

The Stokes Bay is a secluded beach protected from the powerful surf by a giant pool surrounded by rocks.  Visitors can walk through the rocks and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach with rock pools. The Rock Pool Cafe provides wonderful meals at Stokes Bay

3)  Hog Bay Beach

The Hog Bay Beach was named after the numerous pigs released on this island a long time ago.  It’s a great place for swimming with the kids and behind it is a grassy area where your family can have picnics and for the children to play.
