Ferry Service to Kangaroo Island

Flights are available from Adelaide to the Kangaroo Island, however the KIC ferry service to Kangaroo Island is a much economical way to travel to the island. Kangaroo Island Connect (kic) ferry tickets are as low as $25/adult and $18/child (3-14yrs).

The ferry crossing is no more than 30 minutes. Leaving from Cape Jervis, 107 kilometers south of Adelaide. At Cape Jervis you can jump on a ferry and start your journey to Kangaroo Island.

Kangaroo Island Connect (KIC) runs ferry services from Cape Jervis to Pennneshaw and American River. Ferry tickets from Penneshaw to Cape Jervis and return are priced at $25/adult and $18/child (3-14yrs) each way. Cape Jervis to the American River ferry tickets will cost you $35/adult and $25/child (3-14yrs) each way. Infants aged up to 2 years travel for free.

Once you arrive in Penneshaw or American River on Kangaroo Island, you can pick up your KIC Hire Car and explore the attractions of the island at your own pace.
